The Krewe of The Conch Republic is a Tampa Based Gasparilla Krewe dedicated to preserving the zealous spirit of Key West!

After spending many years in another krewe, Charles "Chuck" & Karen O'Neill had a dream to start their own krewe with a theme based on the easy going, laid back vibe of Key West and the Florida Keys. In 2017, with the help of a small group of people, a corporation was formed, meetings were held, ideas were shared, members were recruited, a board was appointed, a float was designed & built beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving 2017 and completed by krewe members the week before the start of the next parade season.

The Krewe of the Conch Republic went from being Chuck & Karen's dream, to a wonderful & exciting reality! The krewe debuted in the Gasparilla Day Parade in January 2018. 

The members of our krewe believe in living life to fullest, working hard, playing harder and no matter what, family always comes first.
